Brief Answer:
ER vs urgent care clinic

Detailed Answer:
Hello -

I think you should definitely go to an urgent care clinic or the ER.

If your neck is painful when flexing it forward, plus headache and fever - then go to the ER as that would be the appropriate place to evaluate for meningitis.

If you mean, by neck pain, that you have swollen glands in your neck and sore throat - then go to an urgent care clinic to make sure you don't have strep.

So yes, do go in, and if you are willing, I invite you to let me know how you are doing after you are evaluated.
