needs ent consultation with interventions.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
I see similar cases amongst veteran people who visit my clinic, I would like to ask you few more details.
Do you have any other symptoms associated with head-ache like post nasal drip, dry cough, sneezes or nasal block ?
Here I am giving possibilities of headache with dizziness at 54years.
The First possibility is headache and dizziness could be due migraine.
The Second possibility is head-ache and dizziness could be due to electrolyte (sodium, potassium and calcium) imbalance.
The third possibility is (ear pain with head-ache) sinusitis causing acute otitis media.
The fourth possibility is cervical spondylitis( un usual neck movements causing dizziness and head-ache.
The fifth possibility is low BP due to your viral infections
The sixth possibility is low blood sugar.
I suggest you to to consult ent surgeon and get detailed ent examination, bp monitoring, x ray- cervical spine, blood tests-blood sugar level, hemoglobin percentage, serum electrolytes.
present medications-augmentin (antibiotic), flionase-steroidal spray(you have not mentioned sneezes, dry cough), fiorcet(paracetamol+caffeine+barbiturates) best works with tension head ache and migraine
I advise you stop all the medication till you evaluate the cause of dizziness with head-ache.

Wishing you good health.
