Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Muscle Pain
HeadacheS, shooting muscle pain, deep grinding muscle pain, twitching/spasms, IBS type symptoms, PVCs, loud heartbeat, strong fatigue.
I was hit with a "flare" in XXXXXXX that has yet to subside and it is by far and away the worst thing I have had. it started with strong headaches, muscle pain, twitching, gastro issues, etc.
This time it is different though. I also have extreme muscle pain especially in my legs, ear pain, eye pain, and the most worrisome symptom I have is ice cold feet that change color when I sit or stand for too long.
I have had an arterial ultrasound and an ankle brachial test and both came back clear. so my question is what can it be? should I do more vascular tests of legs or call it be something unrelated to my actual veins/arteries.
I have been to a cardiologist, 3 rheumatologists, a neurologist, Endocrinologist, and several primary dra. all of whom have produced nothing.
Please see attached ultrasound. thank you.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
What you are experiencing may be related to Raynaud syndrome which may be primary (Raynaud disease) or secondary called Raynaud phenomena. Raynaud syndrome is associated with extremities color change due to small vessel spasm.
If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations:
- Nail fold capillaroscopy (microscope evaluation of nail capillaries)
- Antinuclear antibodies tests to exclude auto imune disorders (one of the most common causes of secondary Raynaud syndrome).
- Hormonal balance
- Leg arteriography to exclude any problems in small arteries of the leg
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
