Question: I have a deep cough, sore throat, weak, achy, headaches, and also cold symptoms, What concerns me most is my lungs, I have a sound like small bubbles been squeezed from a sponge. It is spontaneous and I have no control over it and it occurs whether or not I take a breath. Do I have something serious or could I just have home care?

The symptoms you are complaining of looks like you are suffering from respiratory tract infection. The sound you are complaining of is called as Ronchi. It shows the infection is in lower respiratory tract and you have congestive lungs. You need to take the antibiotics. As the antibiotic drugs are not available over the counter i suggest you to get it prescribed by a local physician.

As a home remedy you can try the below remedies.

Salt Water Gargle
Onion and Honey
Bay Leaf
Lemons
Ginger
Thyme
Hot Tea with Lemon and Honey
Boiled Vinegar
Black Coffee
Steam Inhaling

But you get very minimal relief from home remedies. Antibiotics and mucolytics has to be used for complete relief.
