Suggest Treatment For Heart Palpitations And Atrial Fibrillation

I went to A & E where the ECG showed A-Fib but as the heart rate was 64 they gave me no treatment and sent me home telling me to contact my GP to start Warfarin treatment.
I attach the ECG recordings taken at home PNG 1 being the 1st trace and PNG2 being the second showing A- Fib. I understand the irregular heart rate to mean A-Fib, but what does deviating wave form mean. This is what was quoted on the 2nd trace.
I am still in A-Fib 9 hours later, in your opinion do I need to seek further treatment before Monday which is the earliest I can see my GP.
I forgot to attach the traces, hope you have now received them
Go again to A&E to start anticoagulation there...
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking to HCM!
I read your query very carefully and checked the ECG. For me you are having an episode of atrial fibrillation. The deviating wave form are ECG artifacts.
Once the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation is made you should be checked by a cardiologist. If diagnosis of permanent or repetitive Atrial fibrillation is made then you should start anticoagulation therapy.
In your case doctor at emergency suggested to start anticoagulation with warfarine, but unfortunately you can't start it before Monday (when you will contact your GP).
If you were my patient i would suggest going again in emergency department in order to begin anticoagulation therapy. I would recommend at least starting low molecular weigh heparin (such as Clexane, Fragmine ect) till the Monday.
Hope this was of help!
