Question: I have been feeling heaviness in my right eye. I had an episode today lasting @ 30 sec to a minute. This happened once before about a year ago. I was driving and my right eye felt like it was not focusing. It could not focus. I don't feel sick and hope I'm not over reacting. I am a 55 yr old Fem hispanic/white. I drive a lot for work.

Brief Answer:
It indicates transient ischemia.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you had had an episode of sudden onset of blurred vision with difficulty in focussing lasting for about 1 minute with similar episode 1 year back.

These symptoms typically indicate a transient ischemia. The common causes are hypotension, hypoglycemia, vascular diseases, migraine....

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for evaluation to rule out these common causes. Otherwise no need to worry.
Do consult your doctor and write back to me the examination reports.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
