Suggest Treatment For Heavy Periods Inspite Of Being On Emoquette Birth Control

Question: I had my birth control switched to emoquette and all was fine until my period. I had been bleeding heavily for 3 weeks, even on active pills. Had my bc switched back to microgestin and the period lighted significantly, but I still spot and will have brief times of heavy flow with clots. Any tips to help it finally end?

my current period started July 17th. I was switched back to microgestin last Wednesday (my flow lightened the next day). the period before that was normal, a month before. the crazy period was the first one after a month on emoquette. I understand it may take time to get back to normal, but this is driving me nuts
Brief Answer:
GIVE YOURSELF A FEW MORE DAYS
Detailed Answer:
Since it has been less than a week since you started Microgestin again, give yourself a few more days.
It takes a week atleast for the hormonal switch to stabilize.
Take care.
