Brief Answer:
Lifestyle modification, exercise, calf stretching, medication

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

You seem to be having Plantar fascitis.

Treatment focuses on lifestyle modification, change of footwear, exercises and medication. If conservative management fails, injection and surgery are warranted.

Firstly, Wear Microcellular rubber slippers or footwear. Keep your feet immersed in warm water with added table salt and flex and extend your ankles multiple times during the infection for about 10 minutes a day.

Wear a foot drop splint at night to keep the feet dorsiflexed. This stretches the calf muscles and prevents the symptoms.

Do calf muscle strengthening exercises by keeping your palms against a wall with extended arms forward, bend one knee close to the wall and straighten the other knee behind. Keep this position for about 1 minute and repeat with other foot. So this exercise 5 times a day.

Take Tablet Diclofenac or Brufen twice a day for 5 days after meals. Exercise regularly by brisk walking and keep fit.

If these don't work within 2 weeks, a steroid injection can be given near the base of the foot which will give relief.

I hope I have answered your query.
