Suggest Treatment For Hepatomegaly Fatty Liver And Allergic Bronchitis

Question: Hi, I am 37 year old Male - 5'11", 86 kgs. Recently undergone Health checkups and found hepatomegaly fatty liver with infiltration and LDL 114. I am not alcoholic and don't eat meat. There are no other health issues except allergic bronchitis , Abdominal gas and some time bloating in stomach after having food. From 2 years used Herbal supplements for general health and Cold Tablets and syrups for Sinusitis. Now stopped taking any tablets and Herbal Supplements. Doctor suggested to reduce weight, Diet and exercise will bring back liver to it's normal , and prescribed Pantocid 40(2 weeks), Normaxcin (1 week) and Nusam 400 mg (1 month).I use inhaler levolin apart from this currently afraid to take any medicines or supplements. How long will it take to bring Liver to it's Normal size. Any other precaution or treatment needed for hepatomegaly fatty liver with infiltration?. After how many weeks/months should i undergo Tests again to ensure Live is normal?
Brief Answer:
Weight reduction to be done first
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Fatty liver is a harmless condition. Your liver function is within normal limits and it indicates your liver is not damaged due to fatty liver.
You are overweight. Your BMI is 26.5. This might be the reason for the fatty liver. To reverse fatty you need to reduce weight. Your BMI should be less than 25. You should reduce at least 5 kg.
As long as you are overweight the fatty liver may persist.
Continue taking Nusam for fatty liver.
You can repeat the tests after you reduce the weight.
I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

Hi Dr,
Thanks for your reply. I follow diet and exercise to reduce weight and fatty liver.
Currently having Irritable bowel - doctor prescribed Normaxin (1 week) and Pantocid tablet (1 week). Is this safe to use it for 1 week.
Nusam tablet i have not yet started, please suggest is Nusam really required or it is optional.

Brief Answer:
Nusam for faster recovery
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes you can take Normaxin and pantocid. They are safe only.
Nusam can improve recovery from fatty liver.
But even without it and with only weight reduction also there will be improvement.
