Suggest Treatment For High BP And Anxiety After Treating Costochondritis

Question: Hi, a little over a month ago I was diagnosed with pec major/ minor tear and costeocondrtis and given steriods. I took all of my medication and now have a head cold. The entire time I've felt something weird with my heart like it will shoot up to 150+ at times. I've had ecg and blood work at the error and they said every thing was alright. Second opinion?
Brief Answer:
I would like to know little detail about your symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that you might be having symptoms due to steroids. Steroids are known to cause weird feeling and drug dependence. If a person tried to stop them suddenly some time there can be withdrawal symptoms. Before I advised any thing I would like to know symptoms in detail.
1.Can you tell me your symptoms in detail?
2.Are you having anxiety, fear and inability to sleep?
3.Are you still taking steroids?
Please answers these questions. I will try my best to help you.
Thanks

I've been off the steriods for a week now and completed the full taper. my symptoms include a rapid heartbeat at times that reaches 150 plus and a higher resting hr in the 80s/90s. I think that's what makes me feel anxious and that something is going on with me. besides that just the regular cold symptoms that I have now.
Brief Answer:
I think you need to take anxiolytic medicines
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If you have tapered steroids than it is ok. I think you need to take anxiolytic treatment. I would recommend you to see a psychiatrist to take care of anxiety and high blood pressure.
As far as Pectoral major/ minor tear is concern this is not the cause of high blood pressure or high pulse rate.
Your doctor might recommend you to take Nexito-plus tablet once daily.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks.

So you believe it's anxiety and not some kind of afib? Also my blood pressure is good it's just the hr and just not feeling right.
Brief Answer:
I think it is anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I believe it is just anxiety. If you are suspecting heart disease than I can assure you that it is not like that. You can get ECG test to rule out any heart disease.
Thanks.
