Brief Answer:
You should visit a doctor without delay
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
The smoking as well as the high blood pressure could be linked to atherosclerotic disease and could have a relation to a condition called transient ischemic attack (TIA) which could be the cause of the described symptoms. You could also be getting a stroke. I would insist you to take the presentation on a serious note and to get yourself thoroughly assessed.
You should visit a doctor and get yourself evaluated without delay.

can u recommend a good doctor in XXXXXXX - i just checked u are kolkatta based. also, what medicines/vitamins should be take immediately. should he get cholesterol checked. I checked TIA symptoms and the patient didnt have numbness, no dizziness, just the blurring of vision and feeling weak due to a recent viral attack. what is usually case in TIA - one symptom or more ? tx
Brief Answer:
You can go to XXXXXXX and get yourself evaluated
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
In XXXXXXX XXXXXXX and Maulana Azad Medical College are very good and reliable centres where you may go.
TIA is caused due to transient lack of blood supply to parts of the brain. When a certain part gets affected, the respective function gets hampered. So, it is indeed possible to get the described symptoms.
For a person of your age, it is definitely advisible to get your blood sugar, cholesterol, urea and creatinine levels periodically checked. The regular medications can be advised only after carefully examining you and considering your case in details. I would not suggest any vitamin supplementation unless you have definite deficiency symptoms.
