Brief Answer:
consider following tests

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I had gone through your question and I can understand your concern.

at his age, these symptoms are worrisome and you have to be concerned about.

his diastolic blood pressure (52) is on lower side with history of infection which could be suggestive of septicaemia (wide spread infection)

In my opinion, you should immediately consult a GP for examination and a battery of tests like hemoglobin, CBC, ESR, CRP, Liver function test, blood sugar fasting and post prandial, or an X ray chest and an ECG.

Besides evaluation for heart or lung disease, he may require a course of antibiotics under supervision of his doctor.

please upload his complete medical history to guide you better
What all medicines he is taking?
History of any other disease like diabetes heart problem?
what kind of inflammation in lung he was having?

waiting for your response
Regards
