Suggest Treatment For High BP Readings

Should go to ER
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
These BP readings are very high, and one would require to see doctor immediately, who would investigate and start you on anti hypertensive medications.
Metoprolol and Lisinopril are not going to control this high BP.
Medicines would be decided based on the Kidney functions and Serum Potassium levels.
This high BP is considered as an Acute Emergency.
I would advise following investigations:
1. Kidney Function tests
2. Thyroid profile
3. Fasting Blood sugar
4. Fasting Lipid Profile
5. ECG.
I would advise you to get these investigations done. Based on the reports your doctor will start you on medications that would get your BP under control.
Commonly used anti hypertensives are Amlodipine, Metoprolol, Telmisartan, Diuretics.
But at present this "Someone" should go to ER, they will get his/her BP down with Intravenous Frusemide and will order tests.
Avoid pickle, alcohol, namkeen. Take low salt, and oil free diet.
I hope it helps.
Stay Healthy.
