Suggest Treatment For High BP

Question: Hi,

My mother is having high BP issue. Many a times her BP reaches around 180 .Please let me know the favourable steps to be taken.
Also Her Sugar is ok and she has also undergone ECG which is normal.
Please let me know if this is critical. This problem is face d by her from this year only.

Thank for your query.

I read your message. You just described your mothers BP is shooting up.
Is your mother on any medications for BP?
Check her BP twice a day, both lying down and sitting.
High BP can lead to heart attacks and stroke.
Low salt diet, Regular walking are mandatory along with medications like
calcium channel blockers. Consult a cardiologist once and get an ECHO done.
