Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure And Anxiety

Question: Hi I'm taking ramapril 10mg daily for high blood pressure on average 155/110, 40mg daily citalipram for anxiety, 400mg ferrous sulphar. My white cell count was down low 3,weeks ago on my last blood test and although I had internal haemorrhoids tied 6 months ago I lose regular blood on passing stools at least once a week. I exercise regularly, don't smoke, very healthy diet but drink 30units of alcohol over the weekend period, I don't drink at all during the week as I drive regularly for work. I'm off work at the moment as I feel generally very unwell my GP said he could see no reason why. Could you please advise.

There are need for some corrections.
First of all your blood pressure must be corrected: 155/110 is not normal and there is a need for additional treatment.
Also Citaclopram usage should be discussed regarding bleeding problems.
And of course you shouldn't drink any more.

Your doctor prescribed Ramipril for controlling your blood pressure.
But in your case it is not enough, you still have high blood pressure.
So there is a need for additional medication.
