Question: Ihave a friend that fellout a couple of days ago. He said he was awake the whole time that he was falling but couldn't do anything.They said his blood pressure was up.and he had some bleeding on his brain. iwas wondering if his blood pressure could cause this or what could cause this

Yes, high blood pressure is one of the causes of brain bleeding, because the chronic problem weakens gradually the wall of the blood vesels. Though, if high blood pressure if treated well and kept under control the risk of having brain bleeding is much lower.

Other causes of brain bleeding are head truma, congenital abnormalities of the anatomy of the vesels, aneurysms, liver desease which causes problem with coagulation factors and therefore bleeding.
