Question: My Father's current blood pressure is 160/100. Doctor prescribed to use ecosprin Gold 20mg regularly. What precaution should I take to overcome this situation.

EcospirinGold is is blood thinner and cholesterol medicine is for heart. He is not on any blood pressure medicines. At this level of BP he needs to be on medicines for BP and also life style modification like low salt diet and exercise. Please let me know if any other medicines he is on

Hi Sir,

He is not on any BP medication as of now. A few days ago doctor advised him to undergo Angiogram to know what is the exact problem and prescribed to use the above said medication(echosprin gold 20MG) regularly. He was normal and suddenly the BP raised to 160/100 level.

May be stress has increased BP

it's quite likely that stress could have increased BP but levels are quite high and need treatment please review with doctor. About angiogram the person who has seen him is best person to take call. With information provided I would be able to Take view on angiogram
