Hello,
You are presently having discomfort due to shakiness and numbness in the hands and feet. Such symptoms may be indicative of developing neurological disorder,
peripheral neuropathy or
essential tremor. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a
neurologist, get nerve conduction tests and imaging tests (CT, MRI, EEG) done. Take food rich in vitamin B6, B12, Vitamin E or its supplements. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. If diabetic, control your blood glucose level at all cost. Cut on alcohol, smoking or addictions if any. It may trigger the symptoms.
It is good to know that your
stress test, EKG and blood workout reports came normal. You should have a repeat Lipid function test done as you have history of
high cholesterol and are on medication for it. Both
triglyceride and cholesterol level should be normal or they may cause CAD to develop. Angina causes tightness / heaviness in the chest. Get treated at the earliest. You have history of
acid reflux, take PPI's for relieve but avoid food that is oily, carbs, refined flour, sugar. Take food cooked only in olive oil.
Pain under the sternum is indicative of acid reflux but sometimes MI also presents with such symptoms. Get routine cardiac check up done to stay on the safer side. Maintain healthy weight. You are suggested to walk two kms regularly. Do stretch exercises. Avoid stress, stay cheerful. Take adequate sleep.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
