Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
High grade fever with pain in the left flank can occur in several conditions.
Common include at this age
Stomach flu, urinary tract infection.
The latter requires urine test to confirm and antibiotics if positive.
It is better to get her examined by your doctor.
Meanwhile as temporary measures try Acetaminophen or paracetamol for fever.
Ensure she drinks plenty of liquids to keep her hydrated.

she has been running this fever for 3 days now and hasnt had any vomiting or diarrhea. Ill book an appt in the morning. Just wanted to know if there were any warning signs I should look for until I see the doctor. She also has a bad fall on friday and was taken to hospital by ambulance. she was knocked unconscious for just over a minute.. hoping they r not related in any way.
Brief Answer:
look for activity and urine output
Detailed Answer:
Keep a watch on her activity level and her urine output.
If she becomes very dull and pale you need to take her to ER.
Otherwise you can wait until tomorrow.
The injury could be related to the pain let's hope it is not.
