Suggest Treatment For High Fever
Question: My wife has the flu with temperature of 104 and need some advise as to what to do. Thanks!

I have read your query and understand your concern.
You need to start tepid sponging with water at room temperature to bring down the temperature as it is a bit high. Also give her tablet paracetamol 650mg. Initially you can give two tablets followed by one tablet every 8 hourly.
If still the temperature doesn't comes down by the end to three tablets, then she will need hospital admission.
For cold you can give her tablet cetrizine and if there is sore throat then she can do warm saline gargles.
Treatment for flu is mainly symptomatic.
