Could be in response to infection in body
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the answers. I have gone through them. Sometimes if infection occurs in the body then in response to it, body creates certain chemicals which in return limits that infective agent. At the same time those chemical mediators produce certain responses. One of them is fever. As your fever is gradually coming down so its a good sign. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:
` Fever <101:
ibuprofen or acetaminophen thrice a day for 3 days.
` Fever >101
Perform cold water sponging to bring the fever below 101 and then take ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
> Diphenhydramine + Dextromethorphan for cough.
> AVOID:
- Food not cooked at home.
- Drinks
- Chilled water
- spicy food
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
