thanks for your query to HealthcareMagic. There are so many causes of fever , it could be infectious or non infectious , infectious like bacterial , viral , parasite are common causes . I want to know some more information like :
1. is fever associated with chills and rigor/ burning in urination / pain in abdomen / cough / pain in throat / any other associated symptoms.
2. is fever subside spontaneously or after taking antipyretics.
As many viral illness cure itself within 5-7 days of period . we need to maintain proper nutrition and hydration .
If it is parasitic like malaria or other parasite , will require definitive treatment .
if it is bacterial , will require antibiotic treatment .
I suggest you to undergone
1. Blood for malaria antigen and complete blood count test (CBC).
2.Urine for routine and microscopic examination .
3.throat swab examination you already done .
send me the report of investigation which you have already done .

presently you can take antipyretics like paracetamol 650 mg to relieve fever .take good nutritious dite and drink plenty of water .
