Brief Answer:
Chronic urticaria

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on your description you appear to be suffering from Chronic urticaria. The exact cause for urticaria is not known and triggers vary from person to person. Both H1 and H2 blockers such as loratidine or hydroxyzine and cimetidine can be advised. LTR antagonists such as Montelukast and anti parasitic agents like mebendazole should also be given. Local calamine lotion can be given for relief from intense itching. If the response to these medication is inadequate then immune suppressants, anti inflammatory agents and monoclonal antibodies such as Omalizumab can be considered in consult with your doctor. A food can be kept to document which foods or external environmental triggers e.g clothes, soaps, shampoos etc lead to the rash appearance. CBC,ESR, RA factor, Thyroid function tests, stool exam and patch test can be done to look for clues to the possible cause. Try to avoid known allergens to you whether in food or in the environment. Essential Hypertension in this age is unlikely. It can be secondary to another cause such as hyperthyroidism, pheochromocytoma, renal artery stenosis etc. If the routine BP readings are above 140/90 taken thrice a day at home or in a clinical setting then ambulatory BP monitor can be advised to determine the elevation accurately.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
