Suggest Treatment For Hyper Parathyroid Disorder
Question: I have had serious fatigue for 15 years and cannot find an answer other than the parathyroid is high but not the issue according to doctors. Another doctor believes it is related to my high stress job and a form of PTSD. I discontinued all clients but one a week. If I attempt to exercise, the next day I cannot function mentally or physically and spend hours laying down. No idea where to head. Even been to the Mayo Clinic with no results other than up Vit. D and Calcium to regulate the parathyroid. Thanks.

Good day,
Noted your concern.

Hi
Detailed Answer:
Your PTH is just above normal ( in my lab the upper cut off is 68). Calcium levels are not bad. The rise in PTH could be because of Vitamin D deficiency. You mentioned that it is 57. Is it ng/ml or nmol/L ?. If it is nmol/L, then it is low.
It would have been great if i had the CBC results . You can attach it to the question. But if you can't, then dont bother. Noted that you had been investgated at MAYO clinic and no answer was found. That means that you may not have any significant physical disease. I hope they did a cortisol level as well.
If no other cause was found, then you may be having a chronic fatigue syndrome or similar illness. You may improve with yoga, meditation and stretching exercises. Try to sleep at least 8 hours continuously and listen to music daily. It may be better to do a supervised breathing exercise as well. Your Yoga teacher can help you with this
