Brief Answer:
Get investigated
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Yes spread of darkening in covered areas can be a sign of systemic disease like hypothyroidism or lichen planus.
Please get the following tests done.
1. CBC
2. Thyroid profile
3. Vitamin B12 levels
4. Liver function test.
You need to take levocetrizine only if you have itch.
Please upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis.
Thank you
