Suggest Treatment For Hyperpigmentation Spots
Sunscreen along with Skin Lightening Cream
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query. The photograph you have posted is a very close-up shot and out of focus. I would have preferred a better clarity photograph. Try to upload a better clarity photograph.
Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) is a common sequelae of acne.
Sun protection is an essential part in the management of PIH. I would suggest you to use a broad spectrum sunscreen, that which offers both UV B as well as UV A protection, throughout the day. A broad spectrum sunscreen should have a minimum spf of 30 + and should preferably be gel based if you have an oily skin. Neutrogena dry touch ultrasheer sunblock is an OTC product which you may use. It is non oily and non greasy.
If you were one of my patients I would have also suggested you a skin lightening cream for night time application. A skin lightening cream can contain the following active ingredients e.g kojic acid, glycolic acid, arbutin, hydroquinone etc in various combinations. The creams containing these active ingredients are available only on prescription, therefore, I would suggest that you seek an appointment with a dermatologist in your region for the needful.
You may also opt for a few sessions of chemical peeling from your treating dermatologist.
Glycolic peel would be ideal for PIH. Chemical peeling can be taken along with the topical treatment and would speed up the results.

Kindly visit a dermatologist in your region

Hi.
Dear User, It would be unethical on my part to prescribe you the brand names of the topical's creams/gels on the internet, because actually I have not had the opportunity to examine you.
My job here is to give you treatment options and give you pointers in the right directions, so that you are benefited from the information I provide.
A visual assessment is the best way to judge before we can prescribe medicines. A dermatologist in your region would be able to examine your skin in person and would be in a better position to prescribe you accordingly.
You can also inquire about chemical peeling from your dermatologist.
Regards
Take care
