Suggest Treatment For Hypertension, Nausea And Tiredness While On Losar And Starcad
Question: Hi Doctor
This is for my mother .She has hypertension and was taking losar 50 but again doctor added starcad b50 since her BP reading with losar 50 medicine was 190/100.
Now she is taking Starcad b50 and losar 50 in the morning an dBP reading came back to 140/90 After taking starcad she has some side effects like vomiting sensation and tiredness and its affecting her day to day activities
Her details are below
Weight 85
Height -152
We have done ECG and Echo Cardiogram and both are normal
And mildly elevated cholesterol she i is taking 10 mg statin tablet at night
As per doctor her routine blood test and serum potassium test also normal
No sugar
Kindly suggest if she should discontinue starcad b50

her symptoms are less likely to be related to medicine and we need to seek alternate reason for same. If review assessment with physician is normal and baseline blood tests come back normal, then there can be room for stopping the starcad but it needs substitute which has to be started. as in its absence her bp was very high just stopping will not suffice
