Suggest Treatment For Hypoproteinemia
Question: Can an alcoholic whose liver count is stabilising at 700 and whose jaundice is lessoning.Why is he barely able to walk or eat.He lies motionless despite encouragement to use his hands. Is it connected with attempts to drain the ascitosis which he says leaves no room for food or because he has always been physically laz?

As mentioned by you the patient has alcoholic liver disease and ascites
Ascites draining causing hypoprotenemia and chronic liver disease in itself causes the debilitating situation
Again ascites compresses all GI organs and leads to loss of appetite
