Brief Answer:
I think the diuretic can be discontinued as well unless your doctor says no

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this frequent urination. Every 2hours means you cannot sleep. Diuretics are responsible for increased urine production and this increased frequency of urination. I will suggest that your doctor should replace this medication with others except in expressly tells us why this should not be done.

In all, the diuretic is the possible cause. Report this to your doctor and request for a change. If he says no, then he should share with you why e thinks it is a bad decision doing so.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Should atenolol or lisinopril be discontinued in regard to hypothyroidism I am currently on synthroid

Brief Answer:
Atenolol is not best in patients with hypothyroidism!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Using both medications at the same time would not advised. I would have opted for a different medication and not atenolol as it has opposing actions to synthroid. However, lisnopril has no effects on this synthroid.

I hope this helps. Let me know what your thoughts are.
