Suggest Treatment For Improper Eruption Of Wisdom Teeth

Question: My wisdom teeth are coming out. They are not able to come out properly and I am having pain in left half of the face. It happened 8 months ago as well. But the pain is unbearable now.

Doctor advised me that removing those teeth is the only solution as there is not much space left for wisdom teeth to come out.

Is there any other alternative? If not, How much time will it take to recover after this procedure, What will the cost per tooth and what are some good places in XXXXXXX to get this procedure done?

Hi,

I visited GDC, and PG students examined my case.They said that there could be a complication as the tooth is resting on the nerve. They would have to drill through the bone and then take out tooth in two parts. I am writing this to seek an opinion on the same. Is it ok to get it done by a PG or should I insist them on getting a doc for me?

Read your query as they have said that root of tooth is near mandibular nerve dont be worried so much for that you can go for Tooth sectioning extraction of wisdom tooth that will be better option. Read your query its good that you have gone through surgery but I like to ask when did you undergone surgery ?. See what happened is some blood will ooze from the area of surgery and this is normal . If you have bleeding 24 hour after your surgery then visit your dentist for examination of socket .

After surgery I will suggest you to take some precautions :
- Dont lie flat this may prolong bleeding . Prop up your head with pillow .
- Relax after surgery . Physical activity may prolong bleeding . Dont take stress.

As you have undergone surgery today so there is nothing to be worried within 24 hours for bleeding .
- Bite gently on the gauze pad and change gauze pad periodicaly every 30 to 45 minutes as they soaked with blood . It is best to moisten your gauze pad with water .
-Eat soft moist food . Avoid extremely hot food.
-Dont use straw as sucking of straw cause lossen your blood clot and delay healing.
-Dont smoke (if you have habit ) it delays healing.

Follow post operative instructions . Take proper course of medication prescribed by your dentist.
Take care of yourself . Be relaxed . Stay blessed .
