Question: Hi,

I am 23years old height is 153cm and weight is 66kg, unmarried, for the past 2 months i had my periods for more than 15 days, it was found that my endometrium is thickened to 16mm. Please advise on the measures to be taken..

Thanks for the query to hcm,
If you are not married then please get a serum progesterone levels done on day 21 , which if less than 10ng/dl, indicates that you have progesterone deficiency and then you would have to be placed on cyclical progestins for next 6 months from day 11 to day-25 atleast.
This appears to be a case of progesterone deficiency which can be treated easily with cyclical progsterone therapy esp TAB MEDROXYPROGESTERONE ACETATE 10mg twice a day from day 11 to day 25 from next cycle.
This shall re-establish the balance and your menses also shall regularize your cycles and decrease the flow.
