Brief Answer:
Please see a doctor right away

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
I'm Dr. Shuba Hariprasad and will be answering your query today.

It seems that you may have an infection at the surgical site.

Would you clarify a few things for me, please?
*did you mean you had a glomangioma or a granuloma?
*what procedure was done?
* what other medications were you put on during and after the procedure?
*do you have any other medical issues or take any medications?
*do you have a fever?
*why hasn't the bandage been removed? Usually a change in dressing is advised for the first few days after surgery.

I recommend :
-an urgent consult with your surgeon.
- wound inspection
-blood tests (complete blood count, c-reactive protein, kidney & liver function tests, blood glucose panel)
-yes you may take the cephalexin (as advised by your doctor) with meals.
-you may also take the tylenol but please check to see if you have a fever as tylenol can mask it.
-avoid codeine as it is a sedative and can mask significant symptoms.
-keep the wound area clean and dry. Talk to your doctor to see if the bandage can be removed
-stay well hydrated.

It is important that you see your doctor right away. If not possible, see any doctor or visit the ER right away. This is to prevent serious complications like the spread of infection.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health.
Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
