                                    Brief Answer:
Terbinafine Ointment is preferred.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I understand your query and concern.
You seem to have what is called Balanoposthitis, which is infection of the foreskin along with glans penis.
This is most likely to be fungal in origin, polymicrobial predominantly yeast infections are responsible in majority of people.
Instead of itch guard, I advise you to have a superior antifungal agent like terbinafine applied thrice a day along with tab fluconazole 150 mg single dose will clear infection in majority of cases.
Please note that all the mentioned drugs should be taken only in presence of strict medical supervision.
Thank you.

                                    Thanks for the suggestion doctor.
Just to confirm - this ointment can be applied on the inner portions of the foreskin, correct ?
Is there any tablets that you can suggest as well.
Also, this is the first time I am getting such an infection. Is there any chance of frequent reccurance ? Shud i be careful about something.
