Suggest Treatment For Infertility

Question: We are planning for a baby from last 2 months and have not get the results till now . We have tried in my most fertile days as well (used ovulation kit) but all in vain. i want baby as early as possible, please help doctor. I have questions over my fertility, please help please......what should i do to enhance the chances of conceiving????

Thanks for writing to us.

I have seen your report (it is done 4 months before) where your ESR and Total count was high. It indicates infection in your body. If you got treatment for it then mostly it would have decreased.
And also it indicates that you have low hemoglobin levels which suggest anemia.
I suggest you repeat the test.

Along with it I also suggest you get blood tests done thyroid, vitamin D and B12

I would like to know do you get regular periods? What is the duration of cycle means 28 or 30 days?

Nothing to worry since you are trying to conceive from 2 months.
If you are not able to conceive for 6 months after active sexual intercourse then you need to worry.

I also suggest you start folic acid tablets once a day.

And take vitamin A according to doctor's prescription.

Eat healthy food like iron rich food like jaggery, fruits and vegetables like beetroot, carrot and green leafy vegetables.

Can you please help me in prescribing supplements for folic acid.....please...

You need to take 400 mcg or 500mcg folic acid tablet (Folvite or F5). You can ask about your local doctor. You need to take once a day.

I have gone through your menstrual cycle dates chat.

It seems like you have regular period with duration 25-28 days cycle which is normal.

You can continue folic acid until you conceive and if you get pregnant you need to continue for 5 months

If every thing goes well then you will able to conceive within 3-6 months.

I suggest you have regular intercourse especially during ovulation time between 10th-18 th day of your periods.

Do not take stress, stress it self can delay conception.
