Suggest Treatment For Insect Bite On The Body
Question: I was bitten or poked with something over the weekend. I think most likely bitten by a mosquito. I was working on my boat in tidal VA. What should I do?

I have gone through your pictures.
I would like to get few more information like
1. Is it associated with pain, itching?
2. Have you applied anything to it?
Based on the pictures it looks like a insect bite. I would suggest you to avoid touching and scratching ( if it itches) it. Wash it with cool water and use mild soap like dermadew. Tap it dry. Apply calamine lotion with alovera to it, it will have soothing effect and hastens healing. In the night you can apply topical antihistamine cream to it. If the itching is severe I would suggest you to take oral antihistamine like cetirizine tablet 10 mg in the night for 3 days. Colored this measures you should be fine.
