Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Anxiety Attacks Like Symptoms With Mild Headache

Question: flush feeling in chest as if I saw a snake in front of me, sometimes pee in pants, some sweating, mild headache for an hour or so. These events happen once or twice a month. At times they occur if I rise up from a prone position too quickly and/or if I bend over quickly. Also, if I pick up something fairly heavy and carry it a short distance.
Brief Answer:
This is probably anxiety disorder!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have reviewed your information fully. This is typical of anxiety attacks. This leads to excess stimulation of the body just as it happens when you are frightened. Most often, there are events that you can very much relate to which would often provoke these. Management consists on drug prescriptions and mastery of coping strategies. The best and most commonly prescribed drug is clonazepam. I will suggest that you talk about this with your doctor and hopefully get a script for this medications. A psychiatrist could help with the behavioral coping techniques.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Appreciate your response. I should have provided you more info in my initial question. First time this happened about 4 months ago I passed out in the store. I visited my heart doctor. Ran some tests including wearing a heart monitor. He could not find anything that could cause this. I take Pradaxa for AFib. I went to my regular physician. He did blood work. Everything O.K. Had a brain scan. That was O.K. Regular physician prescribed Meclizine.
Every time I experience one of these spells I feel like I am going to faint. Heart racing fast, lightheaded, mild sweating, etc. After 4-6 minutes every thing is back to normal.
Other meds I take include simvastatin, bisoprolol, clonidine and tradjenta. Does this change your opinion that I am looking at an anxiety disorder this late in my life.
Appreciate your response.

Brief Answer:
I'd still maintain anxiety disorder. Try Clonazepam!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have reviewed all of these details. With every finding being normal and absence of abnormal heart rhythms during episodes makes this more likely. I will say you definitely take Clonazepam (0.5mg at bedtime) for control (you may require prescription from your local physician for this). This will be a great way to also confirm this diagnosis by way of response to treatment.
I hope this helps. I wish you well.
Keep me posted on your progress.
Regards

Dr. Ditah - Thanks for your professional advice. Will give Clonazepam a try. As you noted this will confirm or not whether I'm dealing with an anxiety disorder.
Before I get this med I should note that I am allergic to penicillin, iodine, shellfish, sodium iodide and sulfonamides. Do you see any problem with me taking Clonazepam.
Couple of years ago I took an over-the-counter med that landed me in the hospital for two days. It affected my kidneys.
