Brief Answer:
Likely to be non specific colic

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mr XXXXXXX

Intermittent pain which comes and goes is likely to be non specific colic pain. I would suggest you the following

1. Soft Diet

2. Avoid carbonated/alcohol/caffeinated beverages

3. High fiber diet

4. Plenty of oral fluids

5. Antispasmodic like Cyclopam or Drotavarin will be helpful.

6. Addition of acid suppressant like Pantoprozole will help

If you notice any of the following symptoms , then do consult your Physician for thorough clinical examination to rule out Acute Appendicits/Ureteric colic

1. Pain worsens

2. There is fever

3. There is loss of appetite /nausea/vomiting

Do get back to me anytime you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you

Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy life

Regards
Dr Deepak
