Question: I am having wheezing problem from childhood. After some time during my college time it disappeared. After about 10 years I started getting wheezing rarely. But now for past 1 year i am frequently getting wheezing trouble that too it is noted only at the early morning @ around 2 to 4 Am.

If you have got the pulmonary function test done, please do attach the report of the same here. If not done please consult a pulmonologist for the same. The test indicates type of respiratory disease, based on which the disease prognosis can be postulated.

Usually, obstructive or restrictive lung disease are incurable and only can be treated to prevent the recurrences.

I shall be more specific in my opinion if you can get me the pulmonary function test report.
