Brief Answer:
Do not try to insert a catheter on your own.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

I have gone through your query. Let me mention that catheterization should not be self attempted. It requires strict asepsis alongside adherence to proper procedure. There is a structure called posterior urethral valve and it is possible that you are facing the obstruction there. Do not try to force it through as it might lead to severe bleeding. In case you urgently require the catheter to be inserted, I suggest that you visit the ER for the same.

Feel free to write back.

What I have is urethral calculus. It is actually visible poking out from the tip of my penis. Is it safe to pull it our with tweezers? Should I try to push it out by attempting to pee? Or wait 8 hours to see the urologist?

Brief Answer:
Try to flush it out with urine stream

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for clarifying. Rather than trying to pull with tweezers it might be a good idea to drink plenty of water and to try to push it out using the urine jet. In 8 hours you would be seeing the urologist. In case you cannot wait that long, you can visit the ER.
