Suggest Treatment For Irritation On The Tip Of The Penis

Question: Hi.
So recently i have had an iritation on the tip of my penis. This started about three days ago. Then just today i noticed that i had a tiny bit of what looked like blood in my semen. Also notice a slight dicomfort in my lower abs. I was recently involed with a lady who gave me a hand job and oral. The oral was no longer than a few min. This was about 9 days ago. I went to the std clinic when i noticed the irritation in which i had a penile swab and urine test done. The nurse looked at the penile swab and said that there was no bacteria in the swab and that there was no swelling in my pelvic area. She also mentioned thst my skin looked heathy. Still waiting for the urine and blood samples to come back. I dont have any other symptoms like discharge, sores, lecions, or other pains. The irritation at the tip of my penis is not as bad as it was a few days ago. My anxiety is through the roof right now and i need to know what im dealing with. Please help. Thanks

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed inflammation of Urethra due to oral sex .

Human mouth cavity is full of various bacterial flora hence one is prone to get inflammation of urethra after oral sex .

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily .

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

Do t worry this issue will get resolved within a week and need not worry about acquiring STD as you had not consumed intra vaginal penetrative sex .

Thanks so much for getting back to me. My anxiety is killing me right now. Can you get those drugs over the counter or do you need to see a doctor?? Is there any chance that it is hiv or herpies?? Those sre the ones that scare me the most. Thanks again

STD is acquired only when one has intra vaginal sexual intercourse with infected person and not by oral sex

The blood in the semen that you have once is mostly due to trivial injury to urethral mucosa caused during oral sex .

Ah i see. So type 1 herpies doesnt effect your genitals? It dodnt look like she had any sores or anything on her mouth so im pretty sure im in the clear there. Thanks for helping. Hopefully this will get rid of my anxiety .
