Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
It could be due to eczematous reaction.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily along with antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching for 10-14 days.
This should resolve your itching.
