Suggest Treatment For Itching On Body When Having Fatty Liver
Question: can i use this service if im not from the usa?
ive had ultrasound because of heartburn and high ALT in blood test from 4 months ago. ultrasound showed fatty liver grade 1 but everything else is ok. in the last two weeks (after i saw my doctor but before ultrasound) i started to get itchy all over my body even though i have no rash or anything. some days its better some days almost not at all. also, after i eat i have this discomfort in the upper left side of the stomach, sometimes even after a few sips of water. last two days i had pale or somewhat white feces. i just want to know if this can wait another week or urgent even though my overall feeling is ok.

Brief Answer:
THough not urgent, I suggest you see your doctor as soon as possible!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. They are suggested of a possible problem with the gall bladder and the tract that drains bile into the stomach. This causes bile salt retention which is responsible for itches. This is not life threatening but would love to see this investigated early and managed adequately.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Thank you for the reply.
Is it possible to have this problem without it being seen on the ultrasound?
from the results:
"Normal gallbladder without stones in it . Bile ducts are not expanded"

Brief Answer:
Unlikely but symptoms suggestive of gall bladder disease.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
With a normal ultrasound, this makes it less likely but your symptoms are suggestive of a possible gal bladder disease. Talk you doctors and get this re-examined and cleared again.
Keep me updated when you get more information.
