Dear DR I have uploaded image . I would also send it to you through mail
Brief Answer:
Oral antibiotic and topical steroid+antibiotic combination cream
Detailed Answer:
Hi. Thank you.
I have reviewed the Image. This seems like eczematous dermatitis. Oozing is due to secondary bacterial infection.
I guess this muct be itchy too?
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest a course of an Oral antibiotic e.g Amoxycillin 500 mg+clavulanic acid125mg (Augmetin 625mg) thrice daily for 5 days. This would take care of secondary bacterial infection and oozing.
Topically I would ask her to apply a steroid+antibiotic combination cream, twice daily for 2 weeks e.g mometasone furoate 0.1% + fucidic acid 2% cream (momate -f cream)
An oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10 mg tablet Or levocetrizine 10 mg tablet once daily will provide symptomatic relief from itching.
These are all prescription drugs and should only be taken under supervision of a dermatologist. Therefore I suggest that she visit a dermatologist in vicinity for a physical examination and for the needful.
