Suggest Treatment For Itchy Shins And Rashes On The Forearms And Chest Pain
Question: Hello, I am a 43 male, and took anti fungal medication about 3 years ago and seem to struggle with that although my overall health is very good with very little sugar. 6'2" tall at 190 and exercise a lot. recently...Back has light red marks, previously was obviously tinea versicolor, with white splotchy sections when in the sun. Seems to be gone or regrouped with red spots. Looks like I got hit from distance with scalding water. very subtle. Now my shins itch like crazy at times. rashy on forearms and neck, and chest, mostly where there is hair. Seem to have a little chest pain like mild heart burn as well. Doesn;t matter what I eat, it creates a little chest uncomfort. thoughts?

I have uploaded wrist, ankle, back. Right now things are very subtle. Maybe from removing dust mites for over a week. Or yesterday I also made a tea tree oil spray with some apple cider vinegar. Not sure if one day would make that improvement. My expected course of action is...using that spray, using some selsun blue shampoo as I have read is has an anti fungal ingredient, clean hygiene, and low allergen environment with hepa air cleaner dust mite covers and constant cleaning. I am open to your suggestions however.
Brief Answer:
Back looks like fungal infection, wrist & ankle look like eczematous rash
Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
Your back lesions are looking like that of Tinea Versicolor which is a fungal infection.
I would recommend you to continue with Selsun blue shampoo and apply antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream on the marks once daily.
Your wrist and ankle lesions look like eczematous dermatitis.
If I were your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply Cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetirizine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
Regards
