Brief Answer:
don't worry. will settle with phototherapy
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Usually jaundice is common in newborn babies.
The physiological jaundice increases in the first three days and settles within a week. It is mainly because of immature liver metabolism which will improve on its own.
In some babies it will be above the cutoff value requiring phototherapy.
But don't worry. No other treatments are required.
Do let me know further details
1. Term or preterm baby?
2. Mother and baby blood group?
3. Anybodies problems baby has currently apart from jaundice?
Wishing your child good health.
