Suggest Treatment For Knee And Back Pain
Question: I am non-alchoholic aged 41.
I am from XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
I had malaria during 1997.
For past two years I am suffering knee and back pain (took rejoint & vitamin D and calcium tablets).
Two months ago skin problem started and diagnosed as Auto Immune Disease and took steriods specified by doctor.
Complete blood test shows Malaria (p.vivax) shows positive and high sgot sgpt and gamma gt.
I want to know is there any relation between the problem mention above?

1. What autoimmune disease were you suffering from which needed you to take steroids for so long? Did you have any other medications as well?
2. Is this the first time your liver function tests are deranged or before also you had high values?
3. How high is sgot and sgpt?
4. Did you have any symptoms of malaria this time for which you got your blood tests done or malaria positive was incidental finding?
5. Have you got ultrasound of liver done?
