Suggest Treatment For Knots Behind The Ear While On Antibiotics For An Ear Infection

Question: I noticed a couple of knots behind my ear about 6 weeks ago. They don't hurt but I found them when my ear started hurting. My doctor didn't say anything about them, he just gave me ear drops and antibiotics for an ear infection. Should I find another doctor since they knots are still there?
Brief Answer:
NO!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I have reviewed this information fully and these knots are probably inflamed lymph nodes. This is typical with an ear infection as the lymph nodes increase in size to fight the infection. regression is over time and not instantaneous. There is no need seeking for further medical intervention as all that is required is time and nothing more. Keep calm knowing this is not strange given the ear infection and all wills lowly regress to normal.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for further information and clarifications if need be.
