Question: Hh how woulod u trat an lateral mi?
Brief Answer:
Treatment is based on international guidelines
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Any type of myocardial infarction is treated based on international guidelines. At first we give the patient some medications such as blood thinners, beta blockers and nitrate to relieve the pain and make heart work better, also we give the patient special medication for cholesterol. Meanwhile we prepare the patient and perform coronary angiography. This examination gives as the opportunity the image heart arteries and find out what exact artery is blocked, when we find the blocked artery, we open the artery and put a stent to keep it patent. Such treatment strategy has quite good results.
