Suggest Treatment For Left Sided Ear, Neck And Head Pain
TMJ related issues or cervical spine related problems...
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting the query
After going through the symptoms I am of the opinion that your problems could be related to either temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction or cervical disc related issues. Both these problems present almost in a similar manner and is very difficult to actually pinpoint the exact cause.
You would require a completely evaluation of the ear, nose and the sinuses. Also, x ray of the paranasal sinuses and orthopantomogram are required to rule out sinus issues and TMJ related problems. The treatment is purely based on the diagnosis.
My suggestions to you are:
1. To consult an apt ENT specialist for a complete evaluation and management.
2. Try chewing on the non affected side and eat only soft food. After one week, chew equally on both the sides. Resting the affected side helps in early relief.
3. Try applying analgesic gel around the affected joint.
4. Get neck physiotherapy done.
5. Try taking good oral pain relievers.
Hope with the above measures you should be getting better. Revert back to me if you have any follow up queries.
