Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

Bloating and increased gas could be a sign of gastritis. This is inflammation of the lining of your stomach. This might be due to increased acid secretions and irritation of the lining of your stomach.

It might be reasonable for you to complete a short course of antacid therapy.you might talk to your pharmacist about the best option which might include over-the-counter medication such as omeprazole. This type of medication decreases the acid secretion of your stomach. This might lead to a gradual improvement of your symptoms.

Other considerations include sensitivity to milk or dairy products. You might try changing your diet to illuminate this type of food to see if this helps improve your symptoms.

lastly if you're noticing that you have upper quadrant spasms after eating it might indicate that you have inflammation of your gall bladder or possibly gallstones. If the pain or spasm gets worse I would recommend that you talk about it with your primary care doctor and he might consider requesting an ultrasound of your abdomen to evaluate for this.

Thank you again for sending your question.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
